Rice Recipe 1) Wash 1 cup (250 g) Basmati Rice in water. 2) In a vessel add 4 - 5 cups of water (about 1 litre), 1 tsp salt, few drops of lemon juice and 1 tbsp oil. 3) Mix well and cook for 8 - 10 minutes. Check the rice, it should be slightly underdone. 4) Drain and cool in running water. Drain for a few minutes. 5) Biryani rice is ready.
Wash and soak 250 g of basmati rice for 20-25 minutes then drain the water. In a microwave-safe bowl add 2½ cups of water (650 ml), 2-3 tbsps of Curd, the entire contents of Chicken Biryani Mix, soaked rice, 2 tbsps ghee and chicken pieces (500 g). Mix lightly. Cook the covered bowl in the microwave at 100 % power/high for 12-15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Warm further at 100 % power/high for another 1-2 minutes and serve.
Take Chicken pieces (500g Chicken pieces if with bone used or 350g if boneless chicken used), the entire contents of Chicken Biryani Mix and 3-4 tbsps of Curd. Mix it well. In a medium-sized pan, transfer the above mixture with ½ cup of water (150 ml) & boil. Then cover the vessel and simmer on a low flame for 8-10 minutes. Stop cooking. Separately cook 1 cup (250 g) basmati rice and spread on the cooked chicken mixture. Mix lightly along with 2 tbsps ghee. Cover the vessel and simmer on a low flame for 5-7 minutes. Stop heating.
